Mahmudullah facing injury concern

Dhaka (Bangladesh) June 25: Bangladesh middle-order batsman Mahmudullah is facing an injury concern ahead of their next group stage match of the 2019 World Cup against India, which will be played Tuesday in Birmingham.
Mahmudullah scored 27 off 38 deliveries against Afghanistan Monday at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.
The Tigers eventually won by 62 runs.
Mahmudullah felt discomfort while batting and at one stage was struggling a little bit to run quickly between the wickets.
He did not field in the second innings and according to a team source, the right-handed batsman is suffering from a grade one tear in his right muscle.
Generally, it takes seven to 10 days for the injury to fully recover.
The team management will assess his condition Tuesday before giving an update.
Bangladesh team will travel to the Midlands, Birmingham, Tuesday as they prepare to face unbeaten side India at Edgbaston Stadium next week.
